Below are proposed revisions to the local criminal rules for public comment. Three organizational changes to the rules were made. We have made extensive use of hyperlinks to forms, local procedures, general orders, etc. The numbering system has been changed. The court will now use a dash (-) between the federal rule and local rule number. For example, a local rule related to federal rule 5.1 would now be 5.1-1 instead of 5.1.1. We have removed some of the administrate related rules that were in civil and criminal, such as attorney admissions, courthouse security, etc. and created a set of General Rules.
Comments are due by December 18th. If you have any comments on the proposed revisions to the civil rules you can mail your comments to the Clerk of Court at:
