LCvR72 – Magistrate Judges: Pretrial Order
LCvR72-1 Magistrate Judges-Automatic Referrals.
Unless ordered otherwise by the presiding judge in a specific case, the Clerk of Court shall automatically refer the following matters to the magistrate judges, as indicated:

(a)

All discovery matters in civil cases (other than prisoner cases) shall be referred to the assigned magistrate judge. |

(b)
|
All social security appeals and bankruptcy appeals shall be referred to the assigned magistrate judge for all proceedings consistent with the jurisdiction provided by 28 U.S.C. § 636. |
|
(c)
|
All motions to confirm sale shall be referred to the magistrate judge assigned those duties for that specific year. |
|
(d)
|
All garnishment, asset and writ of execution issues shall be referred to the magistrate judge assigned those duties for that specific year. |
|
(e)
|
All motions for settlement conference shall be referred to the magistrate judge assigned to oversee the settlement program. |
